Neubie Therapy at Urban Body starts with a £215, 90-minute in-clinic assessment. If we recommend treatment, programmes start from £755 for four hours, with £1,440 for eight hours being our most common starting block. Longer programmes are available where more rehabilitation is needed, and the larger the block, the lower the cost per treatment hour.
You do not need to decide how much treatment to buy before we have assessed you.
In fact, we don't want you to.
The amount of rehabilitation we recommend depends mainly on your condition, how significantly it is affecting you and what we find during your assessment.
On this page, we'll explain what each stage costs, what you get for your money, why one person may need considerably more treatment than another and, importantly, when we might tell you not to spend the money with us.
Your first conversation with Urban Body is free.
This is a short phone call to understand why you're considering Neubie Therapy, answer your initial questions and work out whether taking things further makes sense.
There is no charge, no obligation and nothing is booked during the call.
For most people who want to explore treatment, the next step is our in-clinic neurological assessment.
Your initial assessment lasts 90 minutes and is carried out by one of our neuro specialists.
We use that time to:
Where appropriate on the day, you'll also get to experience the Neubie so you know what it feels like and we can see how your body responds.
At the end, we'll give you our recommendation.
And sometimes that recommendation is not to proceed with Neubie Therapy.
That doesn't make the assessment a wasted appointment. That's the assessment doing its job.
We would rather tell you at 90 minutes than at eight hours.
You don't necessarily have to come straight to the clinic.
If we need more information before deciding whether an in-clinic assessment makes sense — or you would simply like a more detailed conversation with one of our neuro specialists first — we can arrange a £40 telehealth consultation.
Telehealth is optional and isn't part of everyone's treatment journey.
It also adds another step before treatment can begin. If you're ready to explore treatment and an in-clinic assessment is appropriate, coming to Solihull is usually the more direct route.
We'll let you know on the free call if we think telehealth would be useful, or you can ask about it if you would prefer to speak with a specialist before travelling.
If we recommend treatment after your assessment, programmes start from £755 for four hours.
Our most common starting point is:
This is a common starting point, not a minimum commitment.
Some people need less treatment. Others need substantially more.
For people who need a longer rehabilitation programme, our current treatment blocks extend up to 36 hours at £5,688.
The larger the treatment block, the lower the cost per treatment hour.
That means people who genuinely need more rehabilitation benefit from a lower treatment rate when booking a larger block.
But we won't recommend a larger programme simply because it works out cheaper.
You don't choose a treatment programme from a price list.
We assess you, explain how much treatment we think is appropriate and why, tell you exactly what it will cost, and then you decide whether you want to proceed.
The two biggest factors are your condition and how significantly it is affecting you.
Someone who has experienced a stroke and has been left with significant difficulties affecting their movement and independence, for example, is likely to need considerably more rehabilitation than someone with a less complex presentation such as peripheral neuropathy.
But diagnosis alone doesn't determine your programme.
Two people with the same condition can be affected very differently.
That's why we look at things such as:
Your recommendation can also change as treatment progresses.
If you're progressing faster than expected, we don't want to keep you booked into treatment simply because that was the original plan.
Equally, if your rehabilitation needs are more significant, we may discuss whether a longer programme would be worthwhile.
The programme should respond to you, rather than you having to fit a predetermined package.
No.
The £1,440 eight-hour block is our most common starting point, but it isn't the minimum amount of treatment available.
Treatment programmes start from four hours at £755.
More importantly, you don't commit to any treatment programme before your assessment.
Your first financial decision is whether the £215 assessment is worthwhile.
Once we've assessed you, we'll explain:
Then the decision is yours.
No charge. No obligation. Nothing is booked during the call.
Yes.
Payment plans are available on treatment programmes of eight hours or more, and spreading the payments does not increase the overall price of the programme.
Treatment programmes with payment options currently range from £1,440 for eight hours to £5,688 for 36 hours.
The larger the treatment block, the lower the cost per treatment hour.
We'll explain the payment options that apply to the programme we've recommended before you commit, so you know both the total price and how the payments would work.
Four- and six-hour programmes are paid in full.
Treatment blocks are non-refundable, which is one reason we don't want you buying more treatment than we believe you need.
Purchased treatment hours are valid for 12 months.
If your circumstances or treatment needs change and you have hours remaining, those hours can be transferred to other treatments at Urban Body, such as hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), red light therapy or massage, where appropriate.
We'll discuss the options available to you rather than simply letting paid-for hours disappear.
This is another reason we recommend your treatment programme after assessing you rather than asking you to choose a package beforehand.
Neubie Therapy isn't the only treatment available at Urban Body.
Where we believe it's appropriate, we may recommend hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) or red light therapy alongside your rehabilitation.
These aren't automatically added to your programme.
We'll explain why we're recommending them, what we believe they could add and what the additional cost would be before you decide.
HBOT and red light therapy packages are 10% off when recommended alongside an appropriate rehabilitation programme.
As with Neubie treatment, the larger the package, the lower the cost per session.
We recommend these treatments as part of a considered programme where appropriate rather than simply adding isolated sessions because they're available. For example, a single HBOT session is unlikely to be what we recommend if we don't believe it would provide meaningful value.
You'll know what we're recommending, why we're recommending it and what it will cost before you commit.
Neubie Therapy at Urban Body isn't the only route available to you — and it won't be the right route for everyone.
If you're receiving NHS neurological physiotherapy or rehabilitation and it's helping you move towards your goals, continuing with it may be the right decision.
There's no reason to pay privately simply because private treatment exists.
Access and the amount of rehabilitation available through the NHS will depend on your circumstances and local services.
You can also access private neurological physiotherapy without Neubie Therapy.
That may be entirely appropriate depending on your condition, goals and what you're looking for.
Urban Body's approach is different because, where appropriate, we can combine specialist neurological rehabilitation with technologies and treatments including Neubie Therapy, HBOT and red light therapy.
That doesn't mean you need all of them.
And it doesn't mean our approach is automatically better for you.
The question is whether what we offer is appropriate and worthwhile for your particular situation.
Working that out is one of the reasons the assessment exists.
There are situations where we'd rather tell you to keep your money.
Private Neubie Therapy at Urban Body may not be the right investment if:
That last point matters.
Paying £215 for an assessment does not mean we're then going to recommend £1,440 — or more — of treatment.
Sometimes the most useful thing we can give you is an honest no.
For many patients who go on to treatment, a typical starting journey looks like this:
Free initial phone call£0
90-minute in-clinic assessment£215
Typical eight-hour treatment block£1,440
Typical starting total£1,655
But you don't agree to spend £1,655 at the beginning.
You start with the free call.
If an assessment looks worthwhile, your next decision is £215.
Only after we've assessed you do we recommend treatment and explain what that would cost.
Your programme may then be shorter or longer than eight hours depending on your condition, the degree to which it's affecting you and what we find during your assessment.
If you'd like more information from one of our neuro specialists before travelling to Solihull — or if we think a more detailed conversation would be useful first — the £40 telehealth consultation is also available.
That's ultimately the first financial decision you need to make, not whether you're prepared to spend £1,440 or £5,688.
The assessment is designed to answer a much simpler question:
Do we believe Neubie Therapy could help you enough to justify the time, effort and cost involved?
You'll leave with our recommendation.
That may be to start treatment. It may be to consider a particular rehabilitation programme. Or it may be that we don't believe Neubie is the right tool for you.
Either way, you should have a clearer answer than you had when you arrived.
If you're considering Neubie Therapy but you're not sure whether spending £215 on an assessment makes sense, don't book the assessment yet.
Start with the free call.
Tell us what's happening, what you've already tried and what you're hoping to get back to.
Ask us about the cost, the commitment, travelling to Solihull, payment options or anything else that's making you hesitate.
We'll tell you honestly whether we think taking the next step is worth exploring.
No charge. No obligation. Nothing is booked during the call.
